Not all extraction is equal — pulling water off a surface and actually removing it from carpet pad, subfloor, and wall cavities are different jobs entirely. Our Water Extraction crews do the second one.

We measure extraction success with a moisture meter against a dry baseline, not by how the surface looks or feels, since a floor can appear dry while the material underneath stays saturated.
None of this changes for a small job either — the same standard applies whether it's a single-room water extraction call or a larger one.
These four things matter together, not in isolation — certification, speed, honest pricing, and the right equipment are what actually change the outcome of a water extraction call.
Commercial extraction units outpull portable equipment on every surface type we work with.
A job isn't finished until moisture readings confirm it, not a visual pass-through.
Less drive time means extraction starts sooner, which matters most in the first hours.
You know the number before extraction starts, based on what we actually find.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each piece of the process below gets its own specific approach.
Standing water comes out first, then detailed extraction moves into carpet, pad, and seams.
Specialized wands lift water between boards without forcing moisture deeper into the wood.
Pad gets extracted independently from the carpet surface, since it retains water far longer.
Slab surfaces absorb and release moisture on a different timeline than wood subfloor.
We flag salvageable contents before starting so you're not guessing what to keep.
We don't sign off on extraction without a documented reading behind it.
Four steps, no guesswork, from your first call to a verified water extraction result.
Dispatch gathers just enough detail to load the right equipment before the truck leaves.
The truck that arrives is stocked specifically for Water Extraction jobs, not a generic handyman setup.
You approve the number before equipment turns on — no surprise invoice after the fact.
We stand behind the result with a documented sign-off, not just a verbal assurance.
We don't cherry-pick which water extraction jobs get reviewed — this is a representative cross-section.
"They pulled water from between our hardwood boards without warping them further, which I honestly didn't think was possible."
Jasper L., Hollins"They tested pad separately from carpet, which caught moisture I would've missed entirely."
Rosalind P., Hollins"No hidden per-gallon charges — the quote held exactly."
Micah S., Hollins"The pad testing caught moisture the carpet surface alone never would have revealed."
Fernanda Q., Hollins"They walked me through exactly what the moisture meter was reading at each stage."
Zora P., HollinsThese are the questions we hear most often about water extraction, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
Our water extraction coverage spans 24020 24019 24050, with crews positioned to reach any address in the service area quickly.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying Hollins address isn't treated as a lower priority for water extraction.
If you're unsure whether your address falls in our water extraction service area, just call — we'll confirm quickly rather than making you guess.
